Hi, I'm Vegard, and I'm the Head of Content at Enonic. Today, Iβll share ten useful tricks to get the most out of Content Studio. Content Studio is Enonic's CMS, where we manage and publish content. With interactive, responsive previews and visual editing capabilities, it's a powerful tool for editors working with structured content for reuse across different platforms. Letβs dive into these tricks!

Want to make Content Studio more personalized? Change the standard icons to custom ones. This not only makes the system more visually appealing but can also make it easier to navigate. However, note that the visual cue about the content type disappears when you use custom icons.
When you add a link in the body text using Ctrl+K or Cmd+K, you'll see three tabs: Content, URL, and Email. Content links to internal content items, URL is mainly for external links, and Email lets you create a "mailto" link. Under the URL tab, there are also options for linking to phone numbers and relative links, which can be useful to ensure your links work even if the domain changes.
A new feature in Content Studio is the ability to export search results as a CSV file. This is useful for getting an inventory of all content, such as blog posts, on your website. The CSV file can be opened in e.g. Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for further analysis and filtering.
Fragments are reusable components that can be edited from one place. A smart trick is to use fragments as templates. Save e.g. a component with several quotes as a fragment, insert it on other pages, detach the fragment, and keep only the quote you want. Note that changes in the fragment will not be reflected on the pages where it has been detached.
Issues are a feature in Content Studio that allow you to create tasks for collaboration on content. This can be useful for proofreading or other types of help. You can create an issue in the Content Navigator or directly from the content item, which will alert your tagged colleague on email and inside the GUI. Communicate with colleagues through chat until the task is complete.
