First major customer
Orion Pharma is a globally operating Finnish pharmaceutical company, developing new drugs and treatment methods.
2002
Enonic CMS 2.0 released
Described as an "innovative portal front-end."
2003
Almost bankrupt
Saved by a major contract with Norsk Tipping, a gambling company owned by the Norwegian government and administered by the Norwegian Ministry of Culture.
2004
Enonic CMS 3.0 released
Focusing on increased security and introduction of version control.
First implementation partner
Bekk Consulting is an IT consulting company specializing in strategy, design, and technology.
National Lottery in Norway launches on Enonic
Norsk Tipping, the national lottery in Norway, continues to be a customer to this day.
2005
Gjensidige launches self-service site on Enonic
Gjensidige is a Norwegian insurance company with total assets of NOK 135 billion (2022).
2006
Enonic CMS 4.0 released
Redesigned user interface, and included smart links and a new Web Services API.
NAV launches public web and intranet
The Norwegian Welfare and Labour Administration (NAV) continues to be a customer of Enonic to this day.
2007
Norway Post chooses Enonic
The Norwegian postal service chose Enonic for public websites in 2007, and continues to be a customer.
2010
Enonic goes Open Source
Launch of Enonic CMS Community Edition.
2011
ISO 9001 certification
ISO 9001 is the international standard for creating a Quality Management System (QMS), published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
2013
New offices
Moving up to the 4th floor in Kirkegata 1–3.
Statistics Norway launches the biggest statistics site in Europe
Statistics Norway (SSB) continues to be a customer of Enonic.

2015

2016
